Dear Joseph (Mr Harker),
I
would just like to say how
much I enjoyed your
refreshingly honest comment in
today's (Wednesday's) Guardian
("Let
whites decide who can live
here"). It
is already too late to declare
Britain a whites-only nation
(even if it were desirable),
but it is not too late to
insist on ethnic Britons
(Europeans) remaining the
dominate ethnic group. They
are, after all, the original
colonisers and native
inhabitants of this continent,
as well as being the creators
of the civilisation which has
attracted so many others to
come here. Obviously,
as an ethnic European myself,
I am biased, but I believe
that there are very good
objective reasons also. 1)
For many reasons it is
important that a large
majority of the population
retains a strong, personal
(and genetic) link to its own
history. I can well understand
that ethnic minorities feel
little enthusiasm for British
and European history, which,
as Greg Dyke might put it, are
"hideously white". 2)
With all the sizable ethnic
minorities we already have in
the country it is important
for native British culture,
with its deep historical
roots, to remain dominant, not
just because it is indigenous
and simply
"be-longs" here far
more than any other, but also
because it is genuinely
advanced (relatively speaking)
and very tolerant. At the
moment no ethnic minority, or
combination of them, can
seriously contest native
British (European) dominance,
but if that were to change,
which it may well do if
immigration is allowed to
continue at its present rate,
we (or our descendents) could
find ourselves with very
serious problems. 3)
The different races, languages
and cultures of mankind only
arose because in the past
human populations were
effectively isolated from one
another. Much of this
diversity has already been
lost, but if migration and
mixing continue as they are at
the moment (driven almost
entirely by huge differences
in wealth and opportunity),
eventually
virtually everyone will be of mixed
race and culture. What a
terrible lose of diversity
that would be. When my
descendents visit
Africa, I want them to meet ethnic
Africans and experience native
African culture; in China,
ethnic Chinese and native
Chinese culture; in Europe,
ethnic Europeans and native
European culture; etc. etc.
This diversity is being
destroyed by a global economy
rooted in man's "more
animal than human "
nature (which only cares about
the "colour of your
money"), and by those
hell-bend on imposing their
self-righteously misconceived
ideology of "multiracial
and multicultural"
society on everyone, whether
they want it or not, damning
and silencing those who don't
by branding them racist . I
beg your pardon. I've gone on
much more than initially
intended, taking the
opportunity to express some
things I've been meaning to
for some time. Roger
Hicks
